BilingualAMAO Announcement
The Cape Flattery School District is required to inform parents of children in the STBIP program that we did not meet the AMAOs (Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives)for the 2008-2009 school year. This means we had too many children staying in the program for too many years, and did not exit enough children from the program as a result of the WLPT-II test. Call Ann with questions at 645-2880. Makah is a recognized language by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. Students who attend Neah Bay School, and who qualify for bilingual instruction can participate in the bilingual program. The bilingual program is supervised by Dr. Ann Renker at Neah Bay School. For additional information on the program, and to see if your child qualifies- be sure to contact her at 645-2880.
