All Employees of Cape Flattery must undergo and pass a background check completed through Washington State Patrol and the FBI. This background check is completed by submitting a fingerprint card to OSPI (the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) in Olympia. OSPI would appreciate fingerprints taken through the "Live Scan" procedure. The closest "Live Scan" machine is located in Port Angeles at the Police Station. Fingerprints can also be submitted through the old ink method. Cape Flattery School District offers this service free of charge. The District encourages applicants to schedule this service.

Cost for Processing Fingerprints :$ 50.25 for employees / $60.25 for Certification
