Cape Flattery School District #401

Message from the Superintendent

Welcome to the 2009-10 school year!

For each of the many years that I have worked in the field of education I continue to  anxiously await the first day of school and the smiles, anticipation, and excitement that each student will bring with them as they leave behind the last few days of summer.

I also know that even the most reluctant student will quickly realize and remember how lucky they are to be taught by such caring and skilled professionals and support staff.  Every employee of the Cape Flattery School District has an individual and collective commitment to excellence on behalf of all the children we serve…that commitment is what prepares our district for the challenges and opportunities that each new school year brings.

Although we have made steady progress over the years and much has been accomplished, there are many challenges ahead and still much left to do. As your Superintendent, I am confident, that with the passion and skills of our staff, parents, and communities, we can take our schools and the success of our children to even greater heights. I hope that you will join me in continuing our efforts to ensure that as the new school year is launched it is important that we seize each day to maximize the possibilities of creating a progressively better future for the students in our care.

I would like to extend a heartfelt welcome to the students, staff, parents, and communities as we begin the new school year.

Mrs. Ritter
